TEAM
Dr Elyshia Hankin
Dr. Hankin is originally from Hawke's Bay, New Zealand and received her veterinary degree from Massey University School of Veterinary Medicine. Thereafter she completed a rotating internship at Veterinary Specialist Group in Auckland. Prior to veterinary studies Dr. Hankin completed a Master’s Degree in Anatomy and Radiology at Auckland School of Medicine.
Following her residency, Dr. Hankin has been based in a busy specialty hospital with a multi-modality diagnostic imaging department, which supports in-house clinicians, rotating interns, as well as local referring clinicians. Dr. Hankin also provided teleradiology support domestically and internationally and Friendship radiology was born out of the demand for high quality, personalized diagnostic imaging support for those clinics who do not have an inhouse radiology team. When Dr. Hankin is not working; she enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her family.
Dr Joshua Hobbs
Dr. Hobbs lived in several different states while growing up, but did most of my growing up in the northwest corner of Arkansas. He completed his veterinary degree at Louisiana State University, and was fortunate enough to complete his radiology residency at Cummings School for Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Since completing his residency in 2014, he has been working in private practice and teleradiology. His interest in radiology began in his 3rd year of veterinary school when he completed a summer research project on food allergies in dogs using ultrasound. From then on he has been and still is fascinated that we are able to apply physics and invisible forces to peer inside opaque bodies to determine what is wrong. The most fulfilling part of his job is being able to interpret these images and aid clinicians to better help their patients.
